  • Provide the very best in safety programming comprised of best practices developed and tested by members
  • Provide Partners In Compliance companies, who choose to utilize the transponder system, the ability to by-pass Alberta Inspection stations 98% of the time
  • Be recognized for safety excellence

  • Promote industry pride, as well as foster positive feelings for current and prospective employees, customers, the general public and insurance companies

Transponders: On board transponders will allow trucks to bypass inspection stations throughout Alberta without having to leave the travel portion of the highway. There is always a 2% chance you may be called in (no green light) for a CVSA inspection. This is the monitoring system of members ongoing compliance.  We like to call it "trust with verification."
These transponders are dash mounted and not hard wired into the truck, they attach by suction cup or the like to windshield or other smooth surface within the truck.
Each scale in Alberta will have Vehicle Identification System monitors which identify the truck and allow or disallow bypass.
